我一生历经坎坷，受尽病痛的折磨，就是这些艰难困苦坚定了我学画的决心。世俗的丑恶，更让我知道了什么是真善美。人生七十古来稀，我即到古稀之年，回望来路，不见坎坷，只见山花烂漫。
因为爱花，每年随着春天的到来，我都要和朋友们按着花开的季节在北京各个公园看花。早晨，不到五点就起床，赶着第 一班公交去公园。到了公园，太阳刚刚升起，在朝阳下，各种花异常地精神，美丽。我爱花，我觉得花儿都是有生命的，它们的生命周期都不长，有的只有几个小时，有的一两天，最长也就是三五天，之后就凋落。每当花开时，每朵花在阳光下都尽情地绽放，把自己最美的生命奉献给大自然，奉献给人们。
美丽的花人人都爱，但有些人爱的太过自私，太过霸道，太过残忍。为了和花合影，她们肆意践踏花草，爬到树上，为了照花雨，她们拼命地摇动树干，在飘落的花瓣中欢呼，跳跃，拍照……。每当我看到这些景象，我的心就隐隐作痛。这些人难道就听不到花儿的呻吟，哭泣？
我画花，从来不画折下来的花。我能看到被折下的花的那绝望的眼睛，也能听到它们沉重的喘息……
生命，在于活着。美丽，在于活着。

从我开始学画画就喜欢画花。记得最早画的一幅工笔花卉是菊花，那是照着一幅挂历上的图画的。画得很用心，画了一个星期才完成，在七院举办的画展上居然得了二等奖。之后，我便开始学画工笔重彩画。花卉注重色彩，三矾九染，正染，反染，颜色上够了，花才显得饱满。因为爱画花，就喜欢看花，常常和朋友们一起在北京各个公园看花，照花。十几年下来，朋友竟然拍了上万张照片。
由于身体状况逐年下降，后来竟无法用毛笔画画了。从2011年开始学画铅笔画，九年过去，逐渐有了些体会。因身体原因，我无法实地写生，只能通过拍照，然后再画，在画的过程中，通过照片回想当时观花的景象，回忆花的姿态，琢磨着如何把花画活，让花在纸上绽放。
我常想，花为什么开放？不管在哪里，不管有没有人观赏，花都自然地开放，展示着自己的美丽。尽管它们的生命很短暂，有的花生命按小时计算，但它们也要努力展现自己瞬间的美丽。花，只为自己开放！我为什么画花？因为美！我要留住它们短暂的美丽，把瞬间的停止变为永恒。
在画的过程中，我也以花的品格净化我的心灵。画画，只为自己喜爱，只为寄托自己的情感，表达内心对美的认识及感受。心底无私天地宽，只有无私，花才会把它的秘密告诉你，你才能把它们画下来。
花为谁怒放？我为谁画花？花开朝天扬声笑，我心如花天地达！
